Payment FAQs

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?. . .

The surgeons fees are guided by the Australian Medical Association recommended fee. This means that in most instances there will be a part of your surgical fee which will not be covered by Medicare and your health fund. It is important that you ask about this gap. Our business manager will go through this with you when discussing your quote.

WHAT ARE YOUR ACCEPTABLE MEANS OF PAYMENT?. . .

Payment at the time of your appointment is appreciated.

Bank cheques, personal cheques, cash or credit cards (MasterCard, VISA) are acceptable means of payment. We do not accept American express cards.
Dr Bradshaw does have a BPay capability, if you wish to make surgery payments via the internet please speak to our business manager with regards to this.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS FOR SURGERY?. . .

We ask that all patients proceeding to surgery pay a deposit equal to the total fee 48 hours prior to the scheduled surgery, we hold this deposit until following your surgery.

Accounts paid in full can be directly processed to Medicare and your private health fund on your behalf (with your permission).

This benefits our patients for two reasons:

  1. You don't have to present the invoice following surgery to Medicare or your private health fund
  2. The claim is processed quicker with rebates generally deposited into your nominated bank account/s within 7-10 business days

If you are unable to meet our payment terms please contact our business manager Kylie 6925 2070 option 1, to discuss further
